Turn your Notes app food diary into AI insights
Many people already keep a food diary in Apple Notes: a date, then one line per meal, drink, supplement or workout. It's fast to write, but hard to learn anything from.
Format that works
10/06/26 -
Black coffee with cream
5g creatine
Steak salad with feta
1.5 mile walk
10/07/26 -
Greek yogurt with blueberries
Two glasses of Merlot
One thing per line, with a date line before each day. Labels such as "Breakfast:" or "Activity:" are optional.
Bring it into Fuelprint
- In Notes, tap and hold the text, choose Select All, then Copy.
- In Fuelprint, tap Type or paste a list, then Paste.
- Check the types it guessed (food, drink, supplement, activity, feeling or other) and tap Add. Lines you already brought in are skipped, so you can paste the same note again next week.
Then open Ask AI, choose All time, and ask for a nutrition estimate, a protein check or a weekly review. Spreadsheet (CSV) exports from other trackers import the same way from Settings.
AI answers can be wrong and are not medical advice.
