Fuelprint privacy policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
Fuelprint is a food diary and supplement tracker for iPhone and iPad, published by Pioneer I LLC ("we").
What Fuelprint collects
Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. Fuelprint has no account, no servers, no analytics and no advertising.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter stays in Fuelprint's private storage on your device: your log of food, drinks, supplements, activity and feelings, your supplement and routine checklist, and your optional profile (age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goals, diet, medical history, medications, allergies and notes). It is protected by iOS data protection and included in your device backups if you have them turned on. Fuelprint has no servers and never sends your data anywhere. If you buy the optional Fuelprint Unlock, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; Fuelprint only learns whether the Unlock is active.
Sending a prompt to an AI assistant
The Ask AI screen builds a text prompt from your log on your device. Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to send it:
- Send to AI copies the prompt to your clipboard and asks iOS to open the assistant you pick, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot or Grok. Where that service supports it, the prompt is included in the web address so it arrives already typed.
- Copy Prompt places it on your clipboard.
- Share hands it to the app you choose in the iOS share sheet.
Once you send a prompt, the service you chose handles it under its own privacy policy and terms. Fuelprint is not affiliated with these services. Your profile is only included when "Include my profile" is on in Ask AI. Check what a service does with your data before sending anything sensitive, especially health information.
Apple Health
If you turn on "Include Apple Health" in Ask AI, Fuelprint reads steps, exercise minutes, active energy, workouts, sleep, weight and resting heart rate for the period you choose, on your iPhone, to add them to that prompt. Fuelprint never writes to Apple Health, never stores what it reads, never uses it for advertising, and never sends it anywhere; it only leaves your phone inside a prompt you choose to send. You can turn access off at any time in the Settings app under Health, Data Access & Devices.
Voice
Speak Your Day uses Apple's speech recognition on your iPhone only. Your voice and its transcript are not sent anywhere.
Answers on this iPhone
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, "Answer on This iPhone" uses Apple's on-device model. The prompt and the answer stay on your iPhone and are not sent to Apple, to us or to anyone else.
Importing and Shortcuts
Import reads only the file or text you choose, on your device, and adds what you approve. The Get AI Prompt action in the Shortcuts app returns your prompt to the shortcut you run; where it goes next is decided by that shortcut.
Health information and HIPAA
Fuelprint is a personal tool, not a healthcare provider, health plan or service working for one. We never receive, store or have access to your health information, so it is not held by a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, share or disclose.
Not medical advice
Answers from AI assistants can be wrong and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before changing your diet, supplements or medication.
Third parties
Fuelprint contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code. No third party receives any data from Fuelprint.
Deleting your data
Swipe to delete any log entry, clear any profile field, delete a checklist item to remove it and its history, or delete the app to remove everything.
Children
Fuelprint does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address.
